Join the Belvedere Board: Call for Nominations!
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is approaching, and we are looking for dedicated neighbors to help lead our community. If you want to build a safer, more connected neighborhood and develop your leadership skills, consider running for a position!
Eligibility & Terms
To ensure a smooth transition and experienced leadership, the following requirements apply:
- Board Director: Must be a member in good standing for at least 3 months prior to the election. (1-year term)
- Officer: Must have served 2 consecutive years as a Director immediately preceding the election. (2-year term)
Note: All roles require attending monthly board meetings and accountability to the Board.
Open Positions
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals for the following roles:
- Bingo: Recruits monthly volunteers and serves as the onsite Chairperson for bingo events.
- Building & Grounds: A handy resident to oversee minor maintenance and manage subcontractors.
- Casino: Coordinates volunteers and serves as Chairperson for our casino dates.
- Communications: Help us spread the word, from promoting events online to crafting newsletters that keep the community informed. We have split this into three focused roles:
- Events: The ultimate party planner! Organizes community events while managing budgets and
volunteer teams. - Membership: Our “social butterfly” who signs up new members and recruits volunteers.
- Programs: Brings creativity to the hall by organizing workshops and activities for all ages.
- Community Drop-In: Hosts our weekly drop-in sessions to ensure a welcoming space for residents.
- Sports: Coordinates with local organizations to get our community’s youth active and onto teams.
